Avinurme Local Museum grew out of Avinurme Highschool Local History Corner and moved to the present building in 1990.br>

In Local Museum you can learn about our local history, traditional woodcraft, handicraft and way of life in general.

New exposition "Life Born out of Wood" with nature corner will be openned in June 2010.
